This is going to be my first build. Is it good?

I am using a simple office pc and I can run games till 2010 at 30fps, but I want to upgrade. Here is the build I stopped on. My budget is 600-700 usd. I have a cas eand an HDD. Is it good? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/8pdfWX

It's perfect for a full quality experience at 1080p. I only suggest to get a 120/250gb SSD, even a cheap model, for the OS and softwares to really improve your overall experience (and speed while doing tasks).

It’s a decent build, but like @ErrantNyles said, get an SSD. You’ll be glad you did.

swapped ram. Though if you could stretch your budget a bit more i suggest getting even a 120gb SSD and a 1060 6gb.

Get faster frequency ram, 3000mhz~3200mhz as shown by @Colexd post.

 

@herman mcpootis Are you honestly recommending Ryzen's known worst motherboard ever? Still got that 2400mhz ram which is awful, I do agree on getting that PSU and if possible squeezing 6gb 1060 is a better deal... frankly I'd take @Colexd option for MOBO and RAM, and PSU and GPU from you, then this is right :P

The MSI B350M Gaming Pro is worse than the VDH. 3 phase VRM crap on that thing

He did change now to a better one... Yes we all know how much MSi struggles with Ryzen but the Tomahawk one in special is a like a middle finger to noobs ever recommend it xD

do you really need 16gb of ram ?

why not get 8gb, and with the 70 ish $ left, get a 256gb ssd.

its 100% worth it, and if you need the ram, you can add it later.  getting your OS right away on an ssd will be much better than the extra ram.
