Any way to make the shaft fit?

So i got a kit to make my long board into an electric one. everything was fine intill i noticed that the gear is a 8mm hole when the motor i have is only 6mm. (I have a 3d printer) Any ideas on how i could get the thing to fit on the shaft?

totally thaught this was a troll post, but seriously though maybe you could make some type of adapter

Should fit effortlessly once it has been worn it.

doesnt sound like a good kit to have an incompatible gear and motor.

I wouldn't trust a 3D printed part to handle that kind of torque. Can you get the proper sized gear or turn the shaft on a lathe?
