Looking for a micro atx case

jamesfindlay3

Hi I am looking for a small micro atx case for my build I wanted to get the aerocool ds cube but i can't get it anywhere so am looking elsewhere, my backup option is the bitfenix phenom M but even that is getting hard to find and is a wee bit basic/simple, I don't want anything too flash but something solid and good looking is what I'm looking for. If you have any ideas please let me know, thanks a lot!

What all are you trying to fit in the case and do you have a specific budget? .... kind of important in order to make a recommendation.... Alas, I will throw darts into the dark night...

There's several of the Aerocool DS Cubes on eBay but they're ~$150-$270 depending on the color... Hey, buy what you want, cry once, no regrets...

I'm a fan of the Nanoxia Deep Silence 4 Micro... good build quality reminiscent of a tiny Fractal Design Define R4/5... super configurable, smallish, quiet, excellent cable management... but yea it's a black box with no window, not much to look at...

I like the Phanteks Enthoo Evolve Tempered Glass Edition for most of the same reasons... it's prettier, but not small...

In Win 301C... again, not tiny... but pretty and very well built

Raijintek Styx... very similar to the two you were looking at and it comes in every color imaginable... can't vouch for the quality I've never had my hands on anything from Raijintek...

In Win 901... this is ITX, so completely irrelevant and stupidly expensive... but it's a sex goddess

The two cases you've mentioned are cube like, so I'll go ahead and put the ThermalTake Core V21 out there. While it is a mATX cube case it is still quite large which allows for easy cable management and great air flow. The V21 provides many orientation options as the panels are all the same size, so you can have the window on the top if you prefer, or put the feet in a more traditional position with the motherboard facing the window.  All airflow entry points have dust filters, and there are two braces that come with the case for mounting extra fans on (tricky to explain, you may want to watch a video).

I think I've convinced myself to buy this case with my little spiel above haha.
