Will this work for my problem? If so are you able to link the page where you purchased it?

Getting mixed opinions about this as well as mixed information when researching this type of problem so I'm looking for someone that's been in my shoes and knows their shit to link me to something that's going to work. I hate being spoon-fed but that's the truth.

Yes, this will work. Connect it to the HDMI port, and plug in the VGA connector from the screen.

I got mine from a place called CPC, Amazon will be fine.

I cannot find the exact one, as a later model has been released which is more expensive, but that should also work.

I found a very similar looking one but it is unbranded. It is around the price I paid for my New Link one, so is most likely the same inside.

The only issue with that is it may be harder to fit into your HDMI port, if there is limited space around it. The VGA port could also put a lot of weight onto the HDMI port.

But why not include it? It can be done with the ports on the card, and gives them an edge over other cards with the same chip.

because that would mean your 1050ti is 5 bucks more expensive, and every company that does an upgrade ends up with a big box of dvi-i  to vga displayport to vga adapters they have no use for.

Thanks, I'll likely be using this as choice.
