GTA V frame drops?

Every once in a while on GTA V offline I get frame drops and it lags quite a bit and I'm on medium settings and my VRAM is getting used 1.9gb out of 2gb at the hospital near the vehicle impound and one strange thing that I noticed is my GPU drops WAY below what it's rated to be at and my specs are FX 6300, GTX 770 2gb, 8gb of DDR3 ram

Could be memory leaking, if you have 8gb of ram only try having at least 12gb of ram on page file enable.

I can't I only have 8gb in my system

I am talking about Pagefile/Virtual memory, I used to have an issue at first with 8gb only in games like CoD IW, GTA V, Mirror's Edge Catalyst all getting huge frame drops after a while of play time, it was due to memory leaking so I set a manual pagefile to 12gb or 16gb I'm not sure right now but then all started playing butter smooth then on.

I'm just throwing this out there, but when all your VRAM is being used up, I'd consider it normal to see frame drops. As far as the clock speed issue, I got no clue, sorry O.o

Ok I know my VRAM is limiting but I'll be upgrading next year

I havent tried GTA V yet but I will now 

 

Still lags and drops frames

 

It crashed with the VR
