You're looking for problems when your computer has no problem and is working normally. Stop worry about it so much and enjoy your computer.

Though I agree, I think it's perfectly fine for someone to aim for low temps :P

ok i did adjust the fan curve now it's better for sure. but sometimes it hits 70c-80c real fast and then goes back to 54c-60c like moving up and down up and down fast all the time.

It'll do that, it can be caused by all kinds of things; random usage spikes, software readouts never being 'perfect', etc. Spikes are normal.

As long as you're not seeing a substantial hit in performance or large change in clock speed or something weird like that, it's perfectly fine.

Thermal throttling ?

I wouldn't think it would at just 75-80c on a CPU chip, but GPU's will actually start to clock down ever so slightly at about the 65-70 mark. I've never seen them really dial down until close to 80.

I've always heard of CPU chips having higher tolerance to this but I just mentioned it cause ya never know?....O.o

72C isn't going to melt his computer. Paranoia on overheating, overtakes his enjoyment of his games and computer. My freaking Pentium D idles at 60C.

Lol, no I totally agree with you, it's just something people like to aim for though, low temps. :P
