Ebay is heavily biased towards buyers, if you pay with paypal you will have pretty much a 90% chance of getting a refund.

yes, as long as you buy ON the ebay SITE using paypal and not off site through bank transfer.

I'd look into a Pebble if you're not needing to use your watch as a phone.

Yes pretty much. The Gear S2 is a Watch whereas the Apple Watch is not.Other than that they are pretty much identical

Also Gear S2 has Much better battery life

I wouldn't call the S2 a timepiece. It's not fashionable enough to be used in business or formal attire. It only fits for casual use. A Pebble Steel is more timepiece than the S2. Also, do you need music playback from your phone using the watch?

Any of them will work then. You can also get 3rd-party apps from the respective stores for complete control of everything.

I don't know how much this will contribute to the discussion but I had a pebble time for over a year and a half and it recently died on me (my fault for leaving it out in my car during 120 degree weather and then washing it) and i have no intention of buying anything but another pebble watch until they go out of stock because they're quite cheap now. If a ticwatch of really any sort goes on sale I can also recommend that. That's what I'm waiting for.
