If you wanna go Intel, WAIT for Coffee Lake. Keep in mind that the Mobos will only be compatible with the one gen of processors more then likely. I'd also get a higher capacity HDD.

Otherwise, I'd reccomend Ryzen. It has a better upgrade path, and is a better alternative to the dual core i3 (*cough* overpriced pentium *cough*)

well, its not BAD if it wasent for the fact that Coffee Lake launches so soon and you should be able to replace those two threads of the CPU with real cores

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...
