Imo sli should be available on just about any card so that down the line you can get extra juice with a second card which given specific situations (used, price drop, etc) would be cheaper than flat out upgrading. Though once again I guess that is pretty niche...

Yes but those cards are from before nVidia change the "rules" on SLI, besides if anything that videos proves is how pointless it is to even try xD
