Best headphones for 100-150$?

Kaidenn

Title says it all my most recent pair of headphones just broke (G930s) so i'm looking for a new pair. Doesn't really need a mic on it just looking to get a good all around pair of headphones that can be used for both music and gaming.

Lol, please don't go around saying things like that.

There are many other options besides the M50.

HD 558, AD700x as well as DT 990/770. They're more expensive but sound better.

No questions asked...?

What if he wants a pair of open headphones?

There's plenty other options for closed as well

Open:

-Pioneer SE-A1000

-DT990

-HD558

Closed:

-DT770

-ATH-M50

With a $150 budget I'd probably pick the HD558 or the DT990.

Dude PWD is the shiz I love you lol. Anyway I would rather have closed headphones I like those the best cuz they block everything out and I can't hear my wife bitching at me LOL. So gimme a list of closed headphones and ill take a look. That being said though I've never actually tried an open pair of headphones so I don't really know.

Was gonna say the same of BoS.

Closed:

-DT770

-ATH-M50

This is a good start, sorry haven't used closed headphones in ages, I prefer open for gaming and music, I'm not gonna wear em outside so no need for closed for me. There's plenty more experienced guys with closed headphones. @ShearMe @MayflowerElectronics @EmoRarity etc.

then he should have said that :)

Lots of people ask for help on the forums and aren't clear. Not saying it was a bad recommendation, just shouldn't rule out any other options is all.

The M50's are a good headphone, but not the only option.

Better is subjective, but I'd say yes.
