UnRaid Disk formatting

Hey,

so I just set up a new Unraid installation and I have a problem. When I go to Main to assign disks there is no possibility to say format. The only thing I can click is to start the array, but then it starts a parity check which would take 3 hours. I don't have anything on my disks, as they are brand new.

 

I have set up an Unraid installation before but I never had this issue before. Can I somehow force it to format my disks?

You dont need to "format" disks to add them to an array. UnRAID will automatically preclear the disk, format and bring it online when you configure the array. 

Is theres something you're struggling with?
