Though the Seagate FireCuda SSHD is a pretty solid performer, I would still suggest that you pick up an SSD. Additionally, your motherboard seems to be unnecessarily pricey for your needs.

Why would you pair a 1080 with a 1080p monitor? Either go 1440p or 4k, otherwise you might aswell get a 1070.

EDIT: I agree with Pineapple, that motherboard is unnecessarily expensive, find something cheaper and get a better CPU.

Nobody? OK, add an SSD. You will want one.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

I don't understand? If you pair a GTX 1080 with a 1080p monitor you're essentially wasting it's potential. That is not a 1080p card.

Why would you invest €2000 in a computer that will take over 30 seconds to boot? An SSD is more of a requirement with all new builds.

That makes no sense. Also, someone literally said the same thing in another one of your threads!

"Dude! A 1080 Ti with a 75Hz 1080p display? o.O

Get a Ryzen 5 1600 so that you can save some money to get a 1440p screen ;)"

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.
