Sure about that ? I sure i've spotted OEM licences in sale for anyone to pick up.

I mostly avoid them, but i guess the main purpose of those is to get a licence for a PC tied to the mobo for cheaper although correct me if i'm wrong.

Stop bloating nonsense, and reason to contribute in a constructive manner.

Yes and no. You have 2x OEMs with Windows 8.x

-> OEM that Dell/HP/Lenovo/etc have, where the product key is in the BIOS

-> OEM incorrectly refereed in computer stores that we can buy. The correct wording is: System Builder.

System Builder license can be changed for free to Personal Use license, which allows you to transfer the license between YOUR systems, as long as it's installed on 1 PC at a time.

Just go for retail it's better you can use for up to 3 PCs.

No you cannot!

1 PC only, as per the license agreement.

The only retail license of Windows that you can install on 3 computers is Windows 7 Family Pack, which was sold for a limited time as a promotion when 7 was released.

The box included a 3 separate license of Home Premium, for 150$ total.

Whoops silly me up to 3 pcs after uninstalling and reinstalling|So you could uninstall it and reinstall on three different PCs/Storage Solutions.
