Posted July 29, 2017 Hey. I am planning to buy a monitor for my pc mostly for racing games. Like f1 2017. What would you recommend as the best solution for performance and experience ? Posted July 29, 2017 Racing games are one of the few games that can actually be played just fine at 60 or even 30fps. Thanks to the type of game play not needing to be as twitchy. Posted July 29, 2017 Depends if you want detail or smooth gameplay. I would probably get a high refreshrate 1440p monitor as it would give both good detail and smooth gameplay. Even a 1440p ultrawide with a high refreshrate would be good if you want to play on an ultrawide. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... Posted July 29, 2017 There is only one choice now for racing games. It is new Samsung CHG90 with 32:9 aspect ratio. It has new QLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and 3960x1080 resolution. 49 inches (totally diferent size than 49 TVs) curved 1800R.
