Buying a 1060 6gb question.

Is it worth it to buy a 6gb Zotac GTX 1060 AMP! Plus for $338? Other brand gpu are also worth more or less. What 1060 brand do you guys recommend? Is it okay to buy a card now or wait for price drop and vega?

God no, not for $300+

Just hold off or buy used as of now.

Yeah, they should be around $250 or less, not almost $400. For $338, throw in an extra $12 and get a used 980 Ti. That'll beat the living daylights out of any 1060 any day of the week (pin performance, not power sipping).

ASUS GPUs are best of all the GPUs at the moment, they OC with no worries, they stay cool while being quiet and the build quality feels sturdy but i wouldn't pay more that $300 for any 1060 6GB.

A water-cooled mid-tier gaming PC.

Okay thanks for the answers. Can't wait for the price rollback to happen.

I got a gigabyte wf1 1060 6gb and it's immense. Never see it over 65c with a hefty memory over clock of 600 and 162 on the core. Highly recommend it.
