More fans or more powerful fans

TheRedViper

So I have 3x 60mm thick radiators to cool (2x360 and 1x240). These would require high static pressure, but im in a dilemma between performance and noise. I am looking to combine Be quiet! Silent wings 3 with Noiseblocker E-loop fans to match the build. Thing is I can get the higher speed version of both to double the static pressure but it raises the noise level by around 75%. So I was wondering about your opinion on weither I should combine fans 2 and 4 in a push-pull setup or go with a better push or pull.

1) Be quiet! Silent wings 3 120mm PWM high speed:

73 cfm - 3.37 mm H20 - 28.6 dBa

2) Be quiet! Silent wings 3 120mm PWM:

50 cfm - 1.79 mm H20 - 16.4 dBa

3) NB E-loop B12-P:

78 cfm - 2.24 mm H20 - 28.4 dBa

4) NB E-loop B12-PS:

58 cfm - 1.48 mm H20 - 21.2 dBa

Why not use good fans in push/pull? Best of both worlds. You don't need to run high speed fans at full speed all the time anyhow, and they tend to scale similarly to their lower speed counterparts when slowed down.

I would go with the higher mmHg fans and decrease their overall speed until you get to an acceptable noise and temp level.

My choice would be #2 since those figures are likely at 100% speed and aren't likely to drop drastically around 50-60% speed.
