Posted July 19, 2017 Basically, all of my Windows Store apps with the store itself doesn't launch, it just pops out of a milisec and goes out and nothing happens. I tried all the conventional ways, including CMD and PowerShell commands. Clean install or resetting isn't an option as I just did and this occurred after that. I'm having all the latest updates already installed. No process or Windows update is disabled. This is what happens when I try to launch WSReset.exe -- BSOD : ( -- Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/809626-windows-store-problem/ Share on other sites
 Posted July 19, 2017 Author PS - I used to hate apple, but now when apple's products have getting reasonable specs, it doesn't feel too pricey to me. And when I use Mac OS for a few days, I started hating Windows 10 more and more, with already having major problem in every few days. And god I hate those auto-updates, no direct way to disable them too, they eat up all my bandwidth. -- BSOD : ( -- Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/809626-windows-store-problem/#findComment-10165276 Share on other sites
 Posted July 19, 2017 Most people don't have any problem. Did you use a registry cleaner at some point? Do you have any security software installed? Did you change any system level folder permissions? Did you use any system tweak tools? Did you have the latest graphics card drivers? (UWP Store apps are fully GPU rendered) If you make a new account, does the Store and everything else works? Posted July 19, 2017 I would try to fix it with either a new account, ccleaner. I would say thats an account issue. What apps do you even use from the windows store? Moving to OS X isn't a hard move especially if you have used it before. I hated windows 10, the updates and the errors I encounterd. I moved to OS X in January and haven't looked back. If you can afford a mac then I would consider having ago at this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAoOAa_izh0&t=112s Have you tried turning it off and on again? Sorry, I meant, just make a new local account for testing, and go to it, and test to see if the apps runs. It is to see if the problem is account level or system level. Ok so, you updated all your apps manually, as the same time as Windows Update, and I would assume that your system restarted at the same time as Windows Apps where updating, and that screwed everything up.
