The tiny screen would have bezels too... Why not just an ultrawide?

Yeah, have third screen that overlaps both the left and right screen so there is no middle bezel! But than you have a two more bezels in-between your setup...

 

The only fix for this is small bezel monitors, triple screen setups to move the bezels not to your middle of your vision or of course ultrawides

That does sound like a very good idea and I agree, it is really annoying since it has the bezels. Especially if it is a larger bezel.

 

That would then be taken as another monitor and computers can only handle so many monitors, depending on the hardware. It is a great idea, though.

here's the thing: between the price of thin/no bezel displays and the percentage of people who care.. not a single display manufacturer cares outside of their most high end products.

 

TV manufacturers are where you'll need to look, since idiots will pony up extra dollars for every metric manufacturers can think of.

That resolution is 21:9 but the aspect ratio is set to 16:9 xD how does that even work?

It works as it should the aspect ratio is actually locked I can't select any thing else heheh, a bit of an "unfinished" implementation I guess at least it works perfectly unlike other e-sports like League of Legends that all looks either ugly stretched or with the black bars.

I know some games let you manually set a resolution that doesn't match the aspect ratio of your screen and then correct it by telling it the aspect ratio of your screen, and so what it will do is render at that res "stretch/squished", which then perfectly balances out when that non-native aspect ratio is stretched/squished to match the screen, so you get a normal looking fullscreen image in the end, but the level of detail in the horizontal direction may be greater or less than that in the vertical direction.

 

If that was the case here, to run on an ultra wide you'd have to set 21:9 in the aspect ratio menu though, regardless of resolution (2560 x 1080, 1920 x 1080, etc.).  So I guess you're right, no one has bothered to test or finish implementing this xD

Does work but in my experience I play 16:9 black bars. Nothing is stretched (loading screens and such, not the game) and it's easier to have less distraction. And it just seems smoother for some reason.
