HELP! i7-7500u for design work?

I am planning to buy a new laptop for graphics design work but I was struggling to find a nice balance between powerful laptops and color accurate screens. Considering my budget (1000€) the best choice I found is Dell's Inspiron 15 7560, but it only has i7-7500u cpu. Would it be enough for advanced Photoshop and Illustrator use? I'm currently rocking a laptop with i5 5200u and I am not really happy with the performance.

P.S. Building a PC is not an option since portability is a must.

Sucks to hear that :S Thanks for the help either way! Maybe you know any other laptops with similarly accurate displays and better CPUs?

I have the acer aspire v15 nitro i5-5200u version. When working with higher resolution files, even minor adjustments cause lags, freezes, and any major effects take ages to load. Basically, the experience isn't smooth at all

well since im tired and thought that 5200u was 7200u, a 7500u will be faster but its still a hyper threaded dual core.

Damn, didn't think the difference that that stark. I'm still a bit confused, but the Dell seems quite a bit better now

this is the minor upgrade i was talking about:

http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-7500U-vs-Intel-Core-i5-7200U/m171274vsm153577

but a clean install still might just do wonders on its own.

does your laptop have an SSD. HDDs are slow so this might be the problem then.  I am no expert in photoshop or so as I have never used it :P
