Keep my 1070 or rx 580

MYX

I bought a gtx 1070 armor 4 days ago when there were no rx 580s in stock. Today I found a rx 580 strix at memory express and sort of panic bought it. I'm on a tight budget and returning the 1070 would put me back on budget, but is it worth it? I also have a crossfire compatable mobo and a psu that can handle CF, what's your guys' opionion?

I should mention the 1070 was 600$ before tax and the 580 was 410$

if you need money to survive and wont be able to afford your next rent payment then return the 1070, if money is just a little issue and you just wont have moeny for the week but can still pay your bills then keep the 1070,

the 1070 is better than the 580, so its all on you

Are you sure? Should I return my psu too? What are your reasons behind it, I'm on a budget

Most PSUs support Crossfire. It's just a matter of having enough PCIe connectors and wattage. And I think you should return the 580 and keep the 1070, since it's much more powerful. 580s are built for 1080p gaming AFAIK, and the 1070 is for 1440p. Though you could keep the 580 and then upgrade to a better card when prices stabilize.

Single card over dual?

Single cards are usually supported in more games. If the games you play can use Crossfire though, then keep the 580.

Sell the rx 580 to a desperate crypto miner and get that sweet green. And keep the 1070 that is better in every way for gaming.

1070 will be better in the future than the Rx480. The 2gb more vram doesn't make it "more future proof" because the gtx 1070 is just a better card
