Case Glass Scratches

Can anyone give me a solution to remove scratches from my S340 Glass Panel?

Scratches are etchings/cuts out of the surface of the glass... so they're permanent (ish) but you might be able to fix with some sort of glass filler or coater. maybe check online or your local hardware store for some products that might fill in the scratches making a smooth surface again.

They are like really lite scratches.

Take a handful of sharp rocks and throw it at the side panel and that will fix the problem ?

i don't see how it will work, but you can try and wipe it off when if, it doesn't

I see people do it on disks and glass saying it fills in the scratches but it sounds a bit weird.

It doesn't fill the scratches in. It can be used to remove scratches from cds because toothpaste is slightly abrasive so it sands the surface down below the scratches.

It will work, it'll take longer since its glass, you can also use metal polish.

Damn sorry about that man, means it's too abrasive. Google said it'd work and I've used it on cds. either there's a coating on the glass or you need a finer abrasive.

Afaik, the S340 has plexi glass, or some sort of low-gradeplastic material, not tempered glass. That kind of window will always scratch, even when You take great care of it, trust me, had a few cases with plexi. You need S340 Elite, with Tempered glass, in order not to have scratches. If You manage to scratch tempered glass, You can only replace it with a new one.

That's what i was gonna ask, is it really glass? or plexi? A real glass side window would take some doing to scratch.
