It summer cost GPU so expensive?

It summer cost GPU so expensive, because I saw lot of solar panels on my neighborhood.

People use GPU to mining with zero cost electricity from solar planes.

If that is true, than mean 80 PLUS power supply will be cheaper?

What?

That sounds environmentally friendlier than relying on coal.

And, no. Most households don't have solar panels and, even if they did, it wouldn't drop the cost of the 80+ PSU's as they still factor into how much waste you pull from the wall or solar panels.

Huh? Homes that use solar panels, are doing ti so save electricity and reduce their carbon footprint. Solar panel are only worth it in very sunny locations most year round.

80Plus power supply has no relation to anything. As tech advances in power supply fabrication, they can make more efficient power supplies for less. The demand for it, and competition also help push companies towards more efficient ones. I think these days, you have to look real hard to find one that is at least not 80Plus Browse certified.

Most people don't have dedicated GPUs. Most people uses Intel/AMD integrated graphics.

The ROI for GPU mining on solar panels wouldn't be worth it unless the solar panels were installed years ago.

You don't suddenly stop caring about efficiency if you power your home with solar panels. They're still relatively expensive, and your batteries can only store so much. It's still better to waste as little as you can.

Only 2 months more, and GPUs will flood the market.

Crypto mining is dropping a lot.

It was about 7$ per GTX 1070 2 months ago. Now it's barely 3$ per same GPU ... so in 2 months, a lot of miners will stop doing that, since it will cost them more to pay bills for electricity.

PSUs have nothing to do here. Even if you have those sonar panels, you still need to power your GPUs somehow ... that's where PSUs come in.

Maybe miners should move to cold areas and use all that heat to keep homes warm /s.
