I want to buy a gaming laptop which is relatively cheap, so i chose the inspiron with these specifications.

Intel i7-7700hq

Gtx 1050ti 4gb vram

8gb ddr4 2400mhz

1 tb hard drive

I was just wondering if i can run most games smoothly and some over 60 fps with 8 gb of ram or should i buy another 8gb ram chip.

8GB should be fine for gaming, 16 gb would be better for the future, some very few games use over 8GB of ram like Batman Arkham knight.

Yes but not high/ultra settings in demanding games
8GB RAM is enough
