Hey guys just got a job and saving up and my budget is $500 cad

No need to rush man, Just save up another month or two and get something nicer. Best budget build at the moment imo is a G4560+GTX1060 and a 240SSD, Stick it in a case you find laying around and 4gb ram is Ok,but I would recommend 8gb. PSU you'll be able to get away with any old 400w but try to get one from a good brand. thats about it.

What you can do is first buy the MB+RAm+SSD and game on the built in graphics card for a while and save up for a decent GPU :)

Since canadian prices are outrageous, I would save up a little more. Right now is not the best time to build a system anyway. Gpu prices have risen ridiculously high thanks to cryptocurrency miners, and getting better quality components, especially for a first time build, should be your first priority. Just be patient and save up some more ;) You will be able to get a vastly stronger machine by the time you are done saving up :D

What moment are your talking about? All gtx 1060s are overpriced in the US so unless the Canadian market isn't also affected by the mining rage I would imagine that the gtx 1060 is way overpriced there too.

Do you need monitor and peripherals as well, or just pc?

Make sure to quote me or tag me when responding to me, or I might not know you replied! Examples:

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.
