1080ti SLI will outperform a single Titan Xp by far, in games with good SLI scaling

tbh, they'll outperform in games with 'ok' SLI scaling

They're nearly identical cards, so SLI is better. 

You probably don't need it though. a single 1080ti can 4K game like a champ.

The Titan Xp is like 5% faster in gaming. It is the most stupid thing I have ever seen. You are paying $100 per percentage point of performance. It's ridiculous. You may as well add another $200 and throw two 1080tis in SLI. For every game that runs 5% slower because of no SLI scaling, every game that does scale at ALL will run better than the Titan Xp. It's insane that an SLI setup has a better price:performance ratio than a single GPU setup. Unbelievable.
