Razer Blade Stealth 13.3: Should I buy one?

Ok, so I am in the market for thin&light powerful laptops.

I am being drawn to 2 laptops

1: Blade 14"

Ok, so Razer's build quality and Keyboard Backlight system has drawn me to It.

However, I am worried about cooling

2: ASUS Zephyrus (1070)

The Insane power has drawn me to this laptop

GTX 1070 or 1080 in such a thin laptop

Cooling looks like it is covered and it looks like it has a cool RGB keyboard

But it costs more than the blade

What I want to do:

Daisychain 2 1080p monitors and a 21:9 QHD monitor

Play VR and Edit videos.

Go to lan parties and play games like Rocket league and minecraft.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

For LAN parties, I would build an ITX system.

Can you link the two models you're looking at?

you might need the extra power from the Asus one since the blade only has a 1060

Something better will come out by then. I'd choose neither right now after reading their specs (seriously, Asus? Windows 10 is your only spec?).

One: I use windows apps alot

2: Cause it runs windows, and has better ports for me for the price

3: VR Rocket Leauge, and Minecraft(VR if I used it as a desktop replacement)

In that case get an aorus x5 v7/v6.  Has an unlocked processor (4.4ghz+ mobile) a 1070 and is still incredibly thin and light.  Plus it costs less than a blade.

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

please stop asking for justification for the razer blade.

also 1080 MaxQ has 0 value proposition. It's good for people who have unlimited budget cause its a SLIGHT bump from 1070 but at a huge cost.

IMO a stupid waste of cash.

If you need a 1080 so bad get a aorus x7 dt.  Its like 7.5lb and has a great screen.  It also costs 3k.  As will Zephyrus  (probably more)

Only way to sensibly get a 1080 and a sff laptop is getting either:

Worse cpu, more stable gpu dock

Alienware 13.9 + gpu dock + 1080

Better cpu, less stable dock

Aorus x3 v7 + blade core + 1080

LOL. No. Also I don't think Asus really thought it through with the zephyrus. That thing is the dumbest design I've seen since the water cooled Asus one. The hinge that raises the laptop is going to be the most accident prone part of that laptop. What if something slips in when u try to close it? Also more moving parts makes it suspectible to a higher rate of failure simply due to stats.

Why do people think that thing is a good idea??? Especially when the Aorus x7 Dt exists.

Yeah, OP has another thread where I was crusading before this, then ignored everything EVERY person on that thread told them when they made this thread.
