MSI or MSI?

Guys, help me choose between MSI - B350M GAMING PRO Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard & MSI - B350 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 Motherboard. Should I go for Gaming pro to save some money or is Tomahawk worth the price?

Whichever has the features you need and looks cooler. They're both B350 boards, so there can't be too much of a difference.

Neither. MSI boards have problems with Ryzen.

Asus, Asrock, Gigabyte, whichever gives enough SATA ports, RAM slots, B350 chipset at the cheapest price.

I've had iffy experience with Asus and MSI boards, all 3 PCs in this house run on Asrock boards.

If you're referring to the long post times, they've been mostly fixed. I asked someone on the forum recently and they said it's only around 13 sec or so for them.

ASrock, Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, even Biostar are all fine. Some people have issues with them and others have a great experience. Just research a bunch and then pick the one you like best.

I think so.

 

Of course, I think 13sec is a bit longer than other mobos but it's nothing unbearable.

AsRock is made of ex Asus employees and pack nice features into their boards. Haven't had a problem with them so far. 

 

Edit: all manufactures have both good and bad products so everyone's individual experience will vary. Some of MSI boards look really nice.

Meh. I don't need my desktop to boot instantly. It's really opening applications that bugs me when it's slow.

Though since I have a beautiful MSI Gaming 980 Ti 6G, I should probs get an MSI mobo to go with it. And we should move this to a PM so we don't hijack this thread .

So op about the motherboard i think the tomahawk is still decent for anyone so i take a word that is "recommended"
