Have a look at metacritic.com and other such sites with best of / tops

My personal favorites in 2016 were Dark Souls 3, XCOM 2, Firewatch, Dishonored 2, and The Witcher 3: Blood & Wine (if an expansion for a 2015 game counts).

Doom, gears of war 4, forza horizon 3 and overwatch are the only 2016 games worth playing imo.

If we're only counting full games and not DLC for 2015 games, my top 5 would be:

 

1. Rise of the Tomb Raider

2. Dark Souls III

3. Uncharted 4

4. Firewatch

5. Quantum Break

 

If you're talking just PC scrap Uncharted 4 and add The Witness.

Apart from Overwatch I can't think of any other games that came out in 2016 that I played.
