8 GPU chasis

I'm looking for GPU expansion with 4 way sli, currently i've x99 series https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/X99E_WSUSB_31/ with GTX 1080 Ti. i want to expand my current GPU.

 

 

Please suggest me best way, i've been looked into NetStor External ePCIe Expansion NA255A-XGPU models and Magma as well.

a lot of cases can do 4way easily?!

Umm, 4-way SLI isn't a thing anymore apart from some benchmarks.

2-way is the limit.

And Nvidia killed it with the current gen, AFAIK. I'm pretty sure the 1080 Ti only supports 2-way.

But if he's actually rendering, but not saying it properly (using the term SLI incorrectly)? He could still need 4 GPUs, he never specified it was for gaming.

as i said, i want to expand my current GPU blocks.. i'm looking to expanding four blocks (4 GPU's), so 8 x16 slot board or 20 x16 boards. which i can connect to my pc with a daughter card.
