I'm.. A... Filthy console peasant... I regret saying this, but THIS WILL ONLY BE TEMPORARILY. Once I get my Athlon II X4 760K I'll become a real gamer. (It's not the BEST CPU out there, but it'll do.) Besides, most of the games I have are on consoles and my Dual-core is put to its knees while playing Minecraft. Or anything, really. I hope you understand.

6300, its like 30 bucks more and about 40% better when oc all cores used

and anyone who says he cant buy 6300 over athlon deserves to be console pheasant :P

As far from as what I can tell from my 10 mins research, the athlon is the same chip, only the 6300 is hexacore, and higher binned, apart from that, there's not much to separate it that I'd personally spend the 30$ on if I was on a budget
