also just noticed you got a 1080ti! AND a 900d sounds expensive or atleast in my country those two things would cost 1300$

Damn. The thing that's missing is custom liquid cooling

 

Plus I plan on upgrading my X99 system to Ryzen Threadripper, because of the massive core counts, PCIe lanes (64 on all 9 SKUs), and very competitive prices compared to Skylake-X. I also have gotten tired of Intel's BS response to AMD when Threadripper was announced.

 

Aside from gaming on the computer, I also do 3D animation and modeling, and game development.

They putting these ridiculous prices on their CPUs for the last several years because AMD wasn't competitive enough with their CPUs.

 

AMD has proven to me that they are very worthy of anyone's consideration if they're planning on building a PC. Hell, I stopped shitting all over AMD because they're that good today!

yeah i know i might even at some point change from my 6600k to some ryzen cpu of course only if i need to. no reason to change if theres no benefit other then not riding on intels stick

Ya. Me personally I've grown tired of riding on Intel after they've shown their incompetence in being able to compete and advance.

Nvidia still is competitive, and AMD is still right up their alley in the midrange market. AMD will soon enter the high-end market with their Vega line of GPUs, and I do hope that they'll compete.

 

Nvidia does at least have a backup plan. Even if they're no longer competitive in the consumer space, they have the enterprise market, especially the AI market (which is exploding like crazy)

i still feel like releasing the 1080 then the 1080 ti and then the titan XPXPXP (or whatever the newest one is called) is a scumbag thing to do against the consumers

I know, in my signature I have the proper naming of their Titan X's in the Pascal lineup.

 

My opinion with Noctua fans is they are all about performance. If you want black fans with Noctua performance, then their IndustrialPPC fans are for you.

what do you think about noctuas non competitive features such as their pricing and not making normal colored fans that are rgb which im pretty sure every fan wants. also im pretty sure that if they did that and at a good price every other fan manufacturer would go out of business lol

The pricing is okay (not too expensive, nor too cheap for premium fans). They don't do RGB fans at all, since their design language speaks performance before aesthetics. The aesthetics is pretty understated at best and not too gaudy.

in my own opinion i think they should make some normal colored fan with rgb so that you can make them fit your case style, of course the shouldn't make the fans perform any different, just make them not horribly to look at. also what do you mean by not to expensive have you seen their pricing, and in one of linus,s computex videos he said their new fans would cost 3 TIMES as MUCH  3 TIMES thats insane, and they are still puke colored

I've seen their pricing, yes. I'm not mentioning their newest fans, as they're not out on the market yet, but yes they will command a much higher premium.

 

The Noctua NF-F12 PWM IndustrialPPC (USD $25.95) and NF-A14 PWM IndustrialPPC (USD $27.95) fans are still expensive, but compared to something like Corsair's ML line of fans, they're pretty competitive in that regard. Of course the regulars are bound to be cheaper, but they are brown/tan in color if that's your thing. I'm not really into LED-lit fans; I'm pretty much into non-LED lit ones.
