Looking for a Laptop for college

The laptop I am currently using is a 2013 MacBook pro dual booted. It is a 15inch with a i7 and iris pro graphics. It works perfectly well for what I need it for which is school work and its eh at gaming. It runs most of the games I play. But there are a few which I want to play but I can't.

I am going to University in the fall and I am studying pre-med. I want a laptop which will be light and easily portable, lighter than my mac which is about 4-5 pounds, something that is great for a student (considering a surface because of the pen for note taking), and can play all modern titles. I want to be able to play mk10, destiny 2, overwatch, dirt rally/4, ESO, and Elite Dangerous. What do you guys recommend I get or what should I do?

Don't buy MSI "budget" laptops... Been there done that .-.

I would go for an Lenovo Y-Series laptop.

Q: How many prolog programmers does it take to change a lightbulb?

A: Yes.

I used a Lenovo Thinkpad for college. Touchscreen and pointing stick make things much easier when you're using gloves in A&P and science courses.
