When looking at this chart, how can a GTX 780 be the same as a GTX 1060 or Titan?

So its safe to say then that GTX 780 = GTX 870 but there is none it skips to 970 then if there were a 870 it would be a 960, but theres not so 780 = 970 = 1060

I understand that logic, let me find some Newegg.ca prices and see, 780 is long gone. So its safe to say just buy the cheapest out of those three 780, 970, 1060.

 

Say the same then for the RX lineup, Buy the cheapest 580, 570, 480, 470, R9-390/290.

780 isnt much slower than a 1060

Keep in mind memory, which is really important when talking about textures and VR. You also have driver support, or lack there of. So that 780 better be much cheaper than the 970, and 970 much cheaper than the 1060.

Tier lists have the potential to be misleading if taken as more than a quick reference. This isn't new, and it applies to all tier lists. Use the tier list to verify something quickly, then read real reviews to dial in more accurate information.

If 780 = 970 = 1060 then I buy cheapest considering ram tho, of course I wouldnt forget that. 1GB vs 2GB so on.
