The hybrid cooler has lower temps for sure. But I'm sure it costs a bit more. The strix would be good also.

basically.. if you have a good air flow case get the strix. Otherwise if you have a case like the h440 then my vote is the hybrid card.

But I'm thinking since it's the FE, it may not perform as well.

The cards both cost $500 firm and both used. The person selling said that it runs at 2,280MHz with no problems, temperatures are excellent, and it is flashed with an ASUS Bios. The Strix card is stock, only thing going for it is RGB!

Strix ran to hot for me. I've had old blower cards run cooler. I'd still get it as i don't like the look of hybrids.

The only difference between the FE and the strix is the PCB. Asus made a custom PCB for the strix card which may result in better OCs... BUT, once again that comes to what I posted above, I would only OC that strix card if you have a good airflow case. If you're not going to OC the card then the Hybrid FE is perfectly fine.

Here is an example between the some 1080s by comparison on Witcher 3.. 5fps difference on 1080p, and 1440p is a even smaller gap. It's honestly up to you.

You're right. The strix is the best for cooling and also for asthetics

Right now I have a Gigabyte 760 OC edition and it is really starting to get underpowered. Can't even run GTA V smoothly on normal settings anymore. So I look forward to getting either one of these cards but I will probably go with the ASUS because of the different PCB. I know for sure FE cards do not overclock as well as the ASUS or EVGA PCBs.
