Need an upgrade recommendation from R9 390

Hi guys,

 

I have a Sapphire R9 390 and I've been using it to play games on my 4k TV but mostly while sitting on a couch /w friends, but I've had to dial down some settings to get close to 60fps.

I've gotten an offer from a friend to buy the card off me for $180, and I've been thinking about getting a 1070 at least and maybe a 1080/1080ti. I have a loose budget of up to $450 or more, depending on what's out there. Any recommendations for any custom PCBs for 1070/1080 or does it look likely AMD may release a new card soon?

i would wait for vega pricing, you can get a gtx 1080 on sale for around that price.

Just don't buy an msi armor 1080, gamers nexus says the pcb is great but the cooling is crap

Ahhh yeah I've watched that video where they stuck a 1070 cooler on top of a 1080 card. I'm going to guess at Computex (this week) they'll release some Vega pricing?
