Fans not spinning corsair crystal 570x

Go to solution Solved by Inf3cted_Worm,

Hey man, so I have the 470x. The "Fan Controller" is nothing but a lighting controller which it doesn't exactly make super clear in the included documentation, you're going to need a three way splitter and run it off one of your motherboard headers, or you could pick up an actual fan controller for more precise control and less strain through a single header. Also I was disappointed to learn that the SP120's from corsair included with the case aren't PWM controlled! Only three pin so I've got them running as low as they can through the bios, makes it a little annoying because I've got a rad on them and would've liked the PWM control.

Hi!

Today I build a pc into the corsair crystal 570x case. Everything else works but the case fans are not spinning. I bought 3 more of the same ones thats already on it but none of them works so its not the fans. Leds do work and I can change the settings on them how the leds light. So only problem is that they wont spin. I tried lowering the temperature point in bios which they start but nothing.

Pc

-Corsair crystal 570x

-Msi geforce gtx 1060 6gb

-Msi something m3

-i5 7600k

-corsair psu rmx 650 if I remember correctly

In the bios or is there another setting for it somewhere? I tried to change it so it would start to spin at lower temperature so in bios yes but else where Idk. Fans are connected to the fan hub

Does the case have a fan controller with it? And you've plugged them into the right headers on the mobo?

@Zando Bob Yes it has a fan hub in the back where i connected the fans. But the connection was 4 pin and not 3 pin (the fans had both) i wonder if i have to still connect the 3pin cables somewhere if its a led controller but there was a another controller for it tho. So none of the fans are connected to the mobo on their own. Idk if i actually connected the fans to the modo at all but what would be the cable for it and what coule it look like?

I think thats the reason that they are not connected to the mobo... I feel so stupid right now but I can only see it tomorrow so Im gonna keep this post as unsolved for tomorrow.

I think one cable is the power cable, and goes to the mobo, then one goes to the RGB controller. Or there should be RGB slots one one side of the fan controller, and power on the other.

Hmm but how do I connect all 6 fans to the mobo cuz there is usually like 4 connectors. And on the hub there had six 4 pin slots which I now guess are for rgb but I didnt see a fan hub where to connect the 3pin ports at all. Well gonna look more into it tomorrow.
