First PC full build 2k Budget

Hello guys. This will be my first time building a pc, so I'm kinda trying to build something good, but also going safe. I plan in buying in 1 or 2 days (if you're looking for deals).

1. Budget and Location

I'm living in Canada (and the us dollar exchange rate is now terrible) and I have about 2k budget. I could go to a max of 2200$CAD if necessary. I need to buy a 4k monitor 16:9 60Hz (included in the 2200$CAD budget

2. Aim

My main usage is for gaming, image and video editing (not super pro level), programming, and some 3D modeling (Blender). I would love to be able to go to 4k, but I can also live with graphic settings a bit under max in games (might go to 1440p 60Hz for gaming). Would like to use 4k for image editing, and if possible 3d modeling.

3. Monitors

I use 2 monitors and don't plan on adding one any time soon. One monitor is 1920x1080 60Hz and the other should be 3840x2160 60Hz.

4. Peripherals

No need to buy a mouse and a keyboard. I also have fairly decent speakers. I will need Windows 10 tho (Home edition).

Like I said, this will be my first time building and I just started to learn more about pc in general, so I don't know exactly what exact pieces I really want/need. I think a GTX 1070 will be enough for what I need and I'm hesitating between i7-7700K and Ryzen 7 1700X for the CPU. But for the rest, I don't really know which motherboard would suit me best, what power supply etc. For the case, a nice aesthetic (I love side window) is nice, but the price is more important (would prefer less good looking but better CPU and GPU). Would prefer a full tower though. For cooling, I'm not sure exactly what I need, but I don't plan on overclocking much (maybe a little, or maybe I won't even overclock). Preference for a filter and mechanism for less dust (positive pressure maybe). Anyways, I'm sure you guys are a lot better than at selecting parts :)

Thanks

Do you have a color scheme you would like to try to keep to?

Not particularly. Anything that looks decent and coherent is fine by me. Aesthetics is just a plus for me. The actual performance and price are more important. I'm really easy for looks.

I've heard some bad things about getting windows from site likes these... Are you sure it's 100% legit?

i've bought it from there myself, i can say it is legit. but remember the sellers are always changing. my recommendation is to pay and extra $5 in case the seller is a scammer you will get your money back. but there is a high chance you will be fine.

No SSD on a $2K build... Slow RAM, Lame.

*Not saying I could make it better without dropping the 1080Ti or 1700

3200 Flare X starts at $250

Other 3000-3200 RAM doesn't appear on QVL list of the board so there is no point getting an uncompatible RAM to run at stock speed, I already max out the budget anyway

I'd personally take the build with a GTX 1080, SSD and Fast RAM (Even if it's not QVL, it will run and OC better than 2133RAM).

but your build is good in the way that it crams as much possible performance.
