570/470 all the way.

AMD simply ages better than Nvidia, this cards have a long trip and it only goes up performance wise. If you still have them when DX12 emerges full force you'll be so glad of having AMD. Plus vulkan is AMD favorite and it has extra GB of VRAM which is always nice to have, no drawbacks.

To be clear i have a 1070 and i love it, but 1060 3gb, nah man. No way i'm supporting that piece of trash of NGreedia marketing. It's not even a full 1060 core. WTF.

I am pretty confused of which one should i buy, i will be pairing it with g4560 for a my friend's budget build.

My plan is to buy either Sapphire Nitro + Rx 470 or Sapphire pulse Rx 570 or Zotac 1050 Ti single / dual fan.
Would single fan be a problem to the temp?

And is Amd lifetime shorter than Nvidia?

Physically they all last similarly. 570 performs better so that would last you longer

If your friend can afford then RX 570 would be the best.

Single fan isn't a big deal but you may notice that it will run hotter especially when OCed

There's nothing such as AMD lifetime shorter than Nvidia, just make no sense

470/570 is better.

As the others allready has mentioned there is nothing as a shorter lifetime. If the card breakes, it breaks. Over the time AMD cards should actually better thanks to their finewine technology. But i have no experiioence with that. sooooo...

Just go with the the 470 or 570.

Are those the only options? If those were the only brands then I'd be looking for another card personally. Try something MSI, ASUS, or EVGA.

Well when he beats the owner of the 1050Ti he can laugh in their face.

Then he can laugh again when Nvidia drop pascal driver support in favour of their latest architecture whereas AMD is known for long life driver support, this is why they age better and why people call it "fine wine"
