Display Glitches on YouTube

Go to solution Solved by kingkang,

First of all, don't be ashamed of learning something, be proud of learning.

Second, this seams a driver issue. Try the new Youtube interface and see if you still get the glitch (www.youtube.com/new)

Hello there. I'm having some problems with my computer. Recently I have been seeing these weird glitched areas on YouTube. They pop up from time to time, usually when I click on a new video or when I come out of fullscreen. They appear quite frequently.

I have provided a Gyazo link to what I am talking about: https://gyazo.com/a858ae103025570da16d804828cdd915

I have also attached the image to this post.

Please ignore the fact that I am looking up tutorials on how to script on a kids game. I am fully aware of how absurd it might seem for a 17 year old to still be playing something like Roblox.

At the same time this started happening, I have started to see glitches in games such as Roblox where the screen is broken up into 10 or so rectangles, when I move my camera it is common for certain parts of the screen to lag behind a tiny bit. As well as weird black dots on ground textures in Warthunder (Which I have been told is a problem with AMD card users, primarily RX users. Of which I am one of with my RX 460 Graphics card.)

I'm not too sure if these three things are linked. I feel like it is most likely a software/driver problem and not a hardware malfunction. If you require full complete computer specifications as well as software versions like Flash, Quicktime and Windows applications please request them.

I have also provided a Gyazo link to my System Summaryhttps://gyazo.com/e85fccf0449c33efc35dfe262d32d9bd

I have also attached the image to this post.

Thanks,

Bowman

Try running Youtube in the night mode and see if it does the same thing.

I have tried to recreate the glitch, but it doesn't seem to be popping up, I have tried to recreate the glitch in the new interface too. The problem is, it is such a rare occurence that recreating it is almost possible.

I have updated my Radeon drivers to the newest version (17.5.1) and I am using the new YouTube interface. I will wait a while (probably a day or two) to see if it pops up in the new YouTube interface and then I will get back to you.

After updating my drivers, the problems which I have been experiencing have vanished on both the YouTube site and WarThunder. The display glitches while playing Roblox have also been fixed but I feel that it probably wasn't linked in any way.

It seemed that the Radeon driver update a few weeks ago had a few bugs and have been fixed in a new version since the last time I updated.

Thanks for the help.
