Is 13.3" screen too small?

I am in a dilemma choosing between 13.3" and 15.6". I want to buy a laptop but which screen size is good. As 13.3" provides better battery backups. Which I want the most. But I am concerned about the display. Does text looks too small on a browser or in a text editor on 13.3" or hard to read?

I've changed from a 17" to a 13" in the last few months and whilst I have to zoom in to 130% on word to read size 12 text comfortability, I do not have to change any zoom settings in chrome.

really only a thing you can decide... Though you could also get a 14" laptop

That depends on personal preference. I personally find 13" to be too small, but not because of text but rather a lack of screen space.

I'd rather go for one in between like a 14" provides optimal viewing experience IMO.

while 13" may be handy, I think it is only for short working on that. I personally would go to 15" for a daily driver for plenty using... even though having the additional numpad.

I even find 15.6 inch small so 13.3 inch is not for me

It depends on use case.  I had a 17.3" HP Envy as my only computer for a time but when I replaced it I was at a point where I had specific use computers so I bought a Razer Blade Stealth which has a 12.5" screen and it works perfectly for what I need out of a laptop.

sorry I try to clarify. 

 

I currently got a 13" notebook... It is nice to carry around and use instead of typing on a smartphone. But for frequent use I would go for 15" because of the ergonomics and screensize. 

 

Even the battery life usually is longer in regard of having else nearly the same specs in 13" and 15" because of more space for batteries.

 

So my conclusion, 13" nice for now and then use, easy to carry around, but for longer use, from the usability point of view, it lacks some. (smaller screen, smaller keyboard). a 15" is nicer to work with for longer stretches of time, due to a bigger keyboard, bigger screen but it isn't as easy to carry around like a 13".

I have laptops ranging from 11" on up to 17.3". The 11" screen gets a little tight at times, and the 17.3" screen, while a joy to work on even though it's 1366x768, is just too big to carry around. My Dell Inspiron 14z is my favorite to use, in terms of screen size, as it's a nice compromise between screen resolution and portability.

For school, I use an 11ish inch screen --school provided laptop don't judge. For many things the screen size is fine; something a little bigger would be nice a 13" should do you just fine for everything but watching movies and maybe gaming. For gaming, I don't really care about screen size unless it is under 10".

I think we need better context to really give you solid advice. What are you using it for? Are you using it for school? Work? Just a computer to have at home?

Like most things, over time you'll simply adapt.

I'm not too sure about that. While they do get bigger batteries it's generally offset by the screen size battery life wise.
