Upgrade???

I'm currently running this set up:

i7-6700(non-k)

H-170 Motherboard

Msi gtx 1070

16gb gskilled ram

600w psu

1x ssd 120gb and 1x HDD 1TB

 

Now my question is what should I upgrade next? Should I wait for X299 or get a gtx 1080Ti I have a buget of 800$. All segestions are greatly appreciated.

honestly... id bank that $800 for now unless you have a need for moar power.. i have basically the same setup and 1080P60FPS gaming on AAA titles is a breeze.

RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4

GPU: Nvidia GT 710

HDD: 1X 10TB Seagate ironwolf NAS Drive.  4X 3TB WD Red NAS Drive.

SSD: Adata 128GB

Case: NZXT Source 210 (white)

PSU: EVGA 650 G2 80Plus Gold

There really isn't anything to upgrade unless ur system isn't doing what u want it to do. I'd save ur money

Here's what I think would take your build to full potential:

 

Buy a 144hz 1440p monitor, get an IPS one too because you have $800.

 

You will see a whole new world, don't get stuck in 1080p 60hz, that is so 2007
