What Mobo should I get for 7700k?

Any thoughts on this board?  ASRock Z270 KILLER SLI this seems like a very decent board.https://m.newegg.ca/products/N82E16813157746

It's on the expensive side, but it's good.

Building a computer for a friend of mine and he recently tried to build one himself and in the process he destroyed the new Mobo he just bought. 

Long story short looking for a decent board for a 7700k i7 for around 300 cad! This is not water-cooled /h20..  Will not be doing extreme oc.  Just want a well rounded board for the money.

Basically any Z270 motherboard. Pick a color, pick a layout, and buy. Just avoid the DDR3 boards and aim for one that has decent heatsinks/power delivery (which is all but a couple).
