Win10 creators update: icons bugged

Hello good LTT people:

Since I downloaded win 10 creators update, I've had some weird bug happening. About 1 in 6 times when I power up my PC, none of my icons show text, neither in file explorer nor in any other app. Drop down menus are useless in all of my apps and dialogs, and the only thing I can really do to solve it is reboot the PC. Has anyone experienced similar issues? If so, has anyone been able to permanently solve this issue? See the attached image for reference in desktop icons. If it happens again I'll try to get some pics of other programs and menus. (screen cap is all messed up when this bug happens)

Yeah, I clean installed and everything works perfectly.

You should do a clean install especially if you upgraded to windows 10 from 7/8.

Ahh yes, this is what I would call the Windows 10 Syndrome. 

 

Its pretty garbage for reliability ever since MS fired their bug testing team about 3-4 years ago.

I did a clean win 10 install about a year ago, I would rather avoid it since I don't want to re-install all the things. I will do it if that is the only way.

What do you mean "fired" their bug testing team? The users are the bug testing team!

Symbian is better than Windows 10 S - at least it allowed sideloading of JAVA based apps written for the platform. :)

never seen that, i have a problem when i launch certain apps, the quick access icon will appear on my desktop and if i refresh my desktop it goes away.... will i deal with it, no it's not doing any damage to my system, it's annoying but i put up with it

the only thing that i could to fix this problem you are having is by trying to repair the opereating system via the repair tool or reinstalling the operating system itself
