Firstly, not sure if this is the correct place for FPC suggestions, so move or delete if necessary.

Any chance we could get playback speed for the videos on FPC. I tend to watch YT videos at 1.25x up to 2x speed, just to save time (except for some specific videos like WAN Show which I watch at 1x speed). I don't know if this would be a highly sort after feature, but is one part of the YT player that I like.

The videos aren't that long and there is 24 hours in one day. I am sure they can add it but seems weird as you are saving maybe a minute or two.

I get your point but say I am watching a longer video such as Scrapyard wars (The main reason I actually bought FPC besides wanting to help LinusMediaGroup out), I may be able to save a lot of time playing it at 1.5x. I doubt there is much demand for such a feature, but could be an update for the future for when/if more creators use it.

I don't see the need for this. You aren't saving much time, and I personally hate listening to things at speeds other than what the content is made to play at.

WAN Show is the one video where I actually accelerate time watching typically at 1.25x, after getting use to WAN at that speed watching at 1x feels like the LTT are mentally slow (which you don't see in other more fast paced videos where they rush to get it done).

If you right click on the player, your browser may give you the option to change the playback speed (firefox does). Other than that, it's something we will consider in the future, but it's not a priority.

I watch literally every youtube video at 2x speed. To be honest watching at normal speeds now see very slow to me. I'd love to see a playback speed implemented down the road when the major features are finished and you have time to add additional features. For now I am just going to download and do it myself. To the people saying that there is no reason. If you, like myself tend to watch most if not all the LTT and many other you tube channels (instead of having cable tv) you would be amazed at how much time you save when its all added up. 4 hours of you tube turns into 2  so I can watch my favorite creators but still be productive in the day.
