X has rifle bearing fan, i has better fluid bearing fan.  Some i models also have the Corsair Link monitoring software for realtime monitoring of PSU stats if that's your thing.

Hello!

 

After searching a bit and not finding any significant difference but the price I just wanted to ask you guys shortly what the difference is between the x and the i model and if it would be worth it to spend 20€ more?!

Difference: The i version comes with Corsair Link Edit: Fan bearing too

Both are not worth it if the EVGA G2/G3 are lower in price

Many won't care about Corsair Link. The defining quality of the RMi is its better FDB fan.

Somehow it's been forgone but the RMi is multi-rail while the RMx is single-rail. In Corsair Link you can switch the RMi from multi to single.
