I recommend League of Legends. Although it is a very interesting, is that the right word, community, it is a fun game, if you have the patience to learn. If you want new Steam games, I recommend Tori-Bash, its fun, but im pretty sure you need 2+ people

Path of exile is good RPG
Starcraft 1 is the greatest RTS ever made

Paladins - Free version of Overwatch/TF2 and is epically good fun 

Mechwarrior Online - Bit of a grind and learning curve but join a faction (Clan Ghost Bears FTW) and some great multiplayer fun. 

War Thunder is also really good.
