Best "Compressed Air" To Clean Dust From My PC

I'm wondering if there's any "Best" compressed air to use when cleaning dust from a PC, i would prefer under £10 but around that price is fine

If you can save up about $50 USD or so (that's like... £35?), an electric air compressor will go a long way rather than spending money on cans of compressed air.

 

Otherwise there's no best.

Doesn't matter, it's all basically the same (usually difluoroethane or trifluoroethane). Just go with whatever's the best deal. Local places might have it cheaper than online, but no guarantees. My Micro Center has 16oz cans for $4, but that seems to be cheaper than usual.

I wouldn't be bothered about using it tbh. I've always found that the best method is with a large paint brush and a cloth plus some rubbing alcohol. Might take more time but everything looks much nicer once you're done with it.

iv'e heard that some can have liquid or something it can cause problems but haven't looked into it

If you tilt the can upside down and spray it, the stuff comes out as a liquid but it's basically like liquid nitrogen, so it'll evaporate quickly. It's also inert so it's not going to run any electronics (unless it condensates the air around them)

I have an air compressor I use for things like the case, and PSU, fans etc. On more delicate parts like the motherboard or GPU I just used a $4 compressed can, then wipe down with non conductive cleaning solution on a microfiber rag.

Otherwise,I remember having one of these (red and black) long time ago. Hahaha woohoo!! 1500th post!! Anyway... Yeah I have never used compressed air because I don't feel that the money is worth it, plus I don't think it is a good all-round solution to cleaning without other items tbh. But sure, try the method some time and you may see a difference to how shiny your components can look haha
