If it works super, its a not bad deal. Its still a good card, and will be reliable for a bit longer. Depends on what you really want to use it for. For work, hell yeah. Roblox? Yeah. Flash games? Yeah. Overwatch and Team fartress poo? Yeah. Crisis 3 on ultra 60fps 1440p? No.

that's a REALLY good deal

It is better than an RX 580/480 and better than a GTX 1060 6GB. For $140 it is an amazing deal!

Probably all I would do with it anyways....

A gtx 980 is basically a 1060 or a 480.  super worth it

Um... you obviously didn't read the post. I was asking if the gtx 980 my friend was selling was a good deal. Not what GPU I should get.
