What games have the longest loading times?

IAmAndre

Hi,

I finally took the step : I'm installing a second SSD for games only since my HDD is almost full. I'm eventually getting a second HDD but I had this 128GB SSD laying around so I thought I would use it to reduce the loading times. To use it wisely I'd like to have suggestions of games taking a while to load.

A few weeks ago I was playing NBA 2K and it was slow to load, but I'm so disappointed in this game that I'm considering uninstalling it. I'm currently downloading Battlefront, Battlefield 4, Rainbow Six Siege, Arkham Knight, and many other popular titles of the last few years. So what are the games you played that were painfully long to load?

Skyrim when it first came out OMG it was like a full 2 minutes to load when I died. Now i don't even remedber if it was a 360 game or it was on the Xbox 1, but what ever it was it was way slow. Now I play it on pc and it is crazy fast, I can't even read the loading screen hints when they come up.

I've seen a streamer wait 20+ minutes to load ARK with mods installed.

Anything can't be worse than Mass Effect 1, or any game that hides loading times under something that can't be improved or skipped.

The loading in GTA V online makes me to refuse start playing the game. It is normal for something to load for 5+ minutes.... on SSD.

There is also reason for this:

Battlefield 3 /4

Fallout 4

GTA V but it's warranted given how big the game is.

New vegas if you happen to run into the "looping loading screen bug" enough times

GTA V online definitely, christ that things takes 6+ minutes to load and guess what? you actually have to be inside the dang game for it to fully load, NO ALT TABBING or the game won't load..Good job C*

DOOM can be pretty bad at times. The original Bioshock was awful to the point I stopped playing when the loading times grew past 10 minutes. Battlefield 4 was annoying when not on an SSD but that was mostly due to how you had to exit and reload the entire game when you wanted to switch servers through Battlelog. I find most PC games to be pretty good loading from a USB 3.0 HDD (I use it to leave the games behind while working because I use the same laptop for gaming and work) but I am really starting to notice newer games taking a while to load on my Xbox one (Loading a save in ME:A and loading Forza Horizon 3 from the main menu are 2 examples I can think of right now) but I am thinking that might be the drive I am using starting to fail.

I found the elevators to be awful playing ME1 on Xbox 360 but they were super fast playing on PC from an external USB 3.0 HDD. Door opens instantly once the dialog completes on PC.
