Microsoft Surface. But it falls behind in terms of actual power. Poor performance is only noticeable in extremely intense graphical workloads. My surface pro 4 4gb ram can play minecraft 60fps at its 2736x1824 resolution.

Most of what you are paying for is awesome build quality, and a beautiful display.

but its portability and flexibility are really were it shines. I personally use mine for school, and recommend it,

Computers r fun

I was going to get this one, since my budget is low, but if anyone can recommend something that is either better at the same price, or the same specs at a lower price, that'd be awesome!

If you must have a GPU, then the Lenovo Ideapad 700 the OP asked about and the Dell Inspiron i5577 Imglidinhere recommend are going to be the best 2 options under $700.

However if you can up your budget just $130 then I recommend the newest version of the Dell Inspiron i5577 right here

For that $130 you are getting the newest NVIDIA series GPU 1050, and Intel's newest 7th gen quad core i5, and even upgrading to DDR4 RAM. So definitely more bang for your buck. Probably the best deal for any gaming laptop under $800.

wow times have changed. If this topic was created 15-20 years ago, it would be "good pens and binders for highschool"

:P

15.6" is really large, especially when you're carrying it around all the time.

mine has a 0% tolerance with phones (board wide policy, fucking ancient rules..)

so Ill take recommendations with good pens :P

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Fountain Pens are cool. My junior high teacher had one, where he would have to dip it to a small bottle of ink.  :D

I'm using standard issue bic pens, sometimes using gel for notes or when I don't need to write neatly

Same here. I prefer fine point over the standard more common medium. Never really like gel pens, their writing tips felt brittle, can would crack from the slightest amount of pressure, like the lead from a mechanical pencil.  Well that was a long time ago. Maybe it has been improved?

Gel pen is only for writing quickly without it needing to be legible to most  people.  Only Me
